ANDERSON
Researching the ANDERSON AND DEMPSEY family who lived in Barlow,
MS; Greenville, MS (Bolivar Co.) around the 1840's to 1850's.
The family migrated to Grand Chain, Pulaski County, Illinois by
1900. My GGGrandfather was Peter ANDERSON who was born 25 Dec
1843. He married Rosetta DEMPSEY. Their children were Fred (my
gr-grandfather), Rosetta, Preston, Sandy, Mariah and Silas. I
would really like to know who their parents were and all that I
can learn about Rosetta's family. I am looking forward to
hearing from anyone with information about either family.
ANDERSON I am
researching the ANDERSON family who lived Grand Chain, Pulaski
County, Illinois. My GGGrandfather was Peter ANDERSON born 25
Dec 1842 in Mississippi. His parents were born in Tennessee. I
would really like to know who they are. Peter married Rosetta
DEMPSEY. Their children were Fred (my gr-grandfather), Rosetta,
Preston, Sandy, Mariah and Silas. I would really like to know
who their parents were and all that I can learn about them. I am
looking forward to hearing from anyone with information about
either family.
BURTON/NEELY I am
researching the NEELY and BURTON families from around the Holly
Springs and Byhalia, Mississippi areas. My grandfather was Elder
NEELY, (parents unknown) he married Nina Mae Eliza Beatrice Jane
BURTON whose father was Charles BURTON. Some of their children
were Mary, Alfer Alco (my father), Thomas, Gertrude, Catharine,
Frankie and Fannie. I would appreciate any information on
ancestors or descendents.
Deborah
Davis
I am trying to find descendants of gr-aunt
James ANDERSON-WILLIAMS, born about 1884 in Mississippi,
probably Bolivar county. I believe her mother was Rose Dempsey
ANDERSON, father was Peter ANDERSON. Aunt James remained in the
South when the rest of her family moved to Southern IL, Pulaski
Co. An affidavit dated July, 1962 gives her name and last known
residence as Dumas AR. Her known siblings: Isiah, Fred (my gr-grandfather),
Rosetta, Preston, Sandy, Mariah and Silas. She was listed in the
1920 Desha County census with her husband James and daughter
Mary A. WILLIAMS.
I would love to hear from anyone with information. I am
especially interested in contact with her descendants. Please
email me if you have information on this family.
