great-great grandmother Rosetta DEMPSEY.
She was born in
Arkansas
probably in the 1840's or 1850's. She
married Peter ANDERSON born 1844 in
Greenville

Mississippi
.
They resided in
Bolivar
County
,
Mississippi
.
I have reason to believe she may have died in
Union County
,
Illinois
but possibly
Arkansas
or
Mississippi
.
Children of Peter and Rosetta were Fred,
Preston
,
Rosetta,
Sandy
,
Mariah and Silas. There was
another daughter named Peter that I am especially interested in.
I have been told she married.
It is not know what happened to her after that.

Dempsey Anderson, father was Peter Anderson. Aunt James remained in the South
when the rest of her family moved to

An affidavit dated July, 1962
gives her name and last known residence as Dumas,
Arkansas
.
Her known siblings: Isiah,
Fred (my gr-grandfather), Rosetta,
Preston

Sandy

Mariah and Silas.

GREENBERRY i.e. GREENSBERRY, GREENBURY, GREENSBURY.
He was born in
Arkansas
around 1850. His parents
were Louis and MARIA (possibly Mariah) GREENSBERRY who lived in Grand
Chain,
Pulaski
County
,
Illinois
sometime around 1880. I
would like more information on this family.

I am trying to find descendants of gr-aunt James ANDERSON-WILLIAMS, born
about 1884 in Mississippi, probably Bolivar county. I believe her mother was
Rose Dempsey ANDERSON, father was Peter ANDERSON. Aunt James remained in the
South when the rest of her family moved to Southern IL, Pulaski Co. An affidavit
dated July, 1962 gives her name and last known residence as Dumas AR. Her known
siblings: Isiah, Fred (my gr-grandfather), Rosetta, Preston, Sandy, Mariah and
Silas. She was listed in the 1920 Desha County census with her husband James and
daughter Mary A. WILLIAMS.
I would love to hear from anyone with information. I am especially interested in
contact with her descendants. Please email me if you have information on
