Deborah Davis

I am trying to find descendants of gr-aunt James ANDERSON-WILLIAMS, born about 1884 in Mississippi, probably Bolivar county. I believe her mother was Rosetta Dempsey ANDERSON, father was Peter ANDERSON. Aunt James remained in the South when the rest of her family moved to Southern IL, Pulaski Co. An affidavit dated July, 1962 gives her name and last known residence as Dumas AR. Her known siblings: Isiah, Fred (my gr-grandfather), Rosetta, Preston, Sandy, Mariah and Silas. She was listed in the 1920 Desha County census with her husband James and daughter Mary A. WILLIAMS.

I would love to hear from anyone with information. I am especially interested in contact with her descendants.  Please email me if you have information on this family.

Looking For Parents and Siblings of John W. Williams, born abt.1854 Ga. He married Charity Jane ? and they had the following children:  John M. born abt.1893,Minnie B. born abt.1890,Sallie B. born abt.1891, and Dovie Jewel born abt.1896. They have lived in Franklin Co., GA; Franklin County, TN; Hamilton County TN, and Jackson County, Alabama.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
