Looking for information on Sallie RUTLEDGE. She was listed as SARAH in the 1880 Pulaski County Illinois census and was born about 1847 in Tennessee. I have reason to believe she was from Paris, Henry County Tennessee. She married Richard MCCLELLAND born 1839 in Tennessee. Richard and Sarah's children were: James Witt (my gr-grandfather) born 1867 in Illinois, Alice, Lula, Warren and Luther born 1860 in Tennessee, Ella born 1862 in Tennessee, Fanny born 1864 in Tennessee, Josie born1869 in Illinois, Nanny born 1871 in Illinois, Flora born 1874 in Illinois, Mary born 1876 in Illinois, Minnie born 1878 in Illinois. I would like to find out who her parents, siblings, and any other family members.
I would love to hear from anyone with information. You can find more on my families as well as links to other McClelland researchers at http://www.debdavis.org/.
I am researching my father's REED line without much luck. The only good thing is that my g/grandfather, Samuel Arthur REED is buried here, along with his wife Emma Jones REED. He was b in Richmond, VA 1853 and I think I have found him on USCT file. I have only the above info on Samuel REED along with info on his 3 children, one of which is my grandfather (Ralph REED), another whose descendants I found last September . The other, Gladys REED Merchant is quite elusive but I have defintely found her on SSdeath Index. Any help you can give me or can you tell me what you have on your REED line? Thanks ever so much and God bless,
