GEORGIA CLEMONS KEMP
GEORGIA MAE KEMP was one of nine children born to the parents
of the late Marshall and Ada B. Clemmons. She was born on
October 8, 1919, in Grand Chain, Illinois. She received her
formal education in Madison, Illinois.
She was united in holy matrimony to Wilbert Kemp who
proceeded her in death. No children were born to this union.
She worked for Commonwealth Steel for many years. She also
traveled extensively and she even drove a bus while living in
New York.
"Sis. Georgia" as we so fondly called her was
touched by God in 1983 and in that same year the Lord saved,
sanctified, and filled her with the precious Holy Ghost.
On
Saturday, September 6, 1997, God translated Sis. Kemp from the
labors of this life to that new and larger life with him.
