NEGRO LEAGUE SITES

The Negro Leagues were formed to allow People of Color the privilege of playing the game in an organization. These leagues were the center of entertainment for many communities around the country. I became even more fascinated with the history after finding I had an uncle to play in Jackson, Mississippi. He was known as Baby Ruth Jones. From what I understand there was an Eastern Colored League and a National Negro League.
