Be it remembered that Ashford Atteberry and John Pendleton witness to this within will personally appear before said court and being duly sworn depose and say that they the within names testator Thomas Gaines signed said person or witnesses of writing, which he published as his last will , that he the said testator was at the time of sound mind and over the age of twenty one years and that they attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of said testator it is thereto considered that the said is duly proven to be the last will and testament of the deceased and that the same be admitted to record.
